I'm oddly anxious/excited to find out we didn't get a spot. Haha.

And not yet knowing which buildings they will occupy next year means they can't know if they will be able to add anymore class rooms, as they have been able to do for the last few years. The lengthy process to get approval for the Kingsbury site means nothing is certain for next year yet.

That’s what happened last year.

So the drawing is done on a computer that's projected on to a big screen. For PK3, 644 applicants for 25 seats. For PK4, 364 applicants for 0 expected seats. For K, 234 applicants for 0 expected seats.

This just means they aren't filling seats in the initial lottery - if there is attrition at those grades later in the year, I'd expect that they will move the waiting list. Though the vagaries of Montessori (PK3-K in one classroom) and LAMB also mean that they can adjust class sizes by simply admitting more PK3 kids, which I think has been their general inclination in the past.

Apparently they have no seats for PK4 or K.
