This itinerary sounds tiring to me. All locations will involve a lot of walking.
Though they don't advertise it, when you buy a ticket for Williamsburg you can use that ticket at 3 p.m. and later the previous day. So, you can get about 1.5 days without paying for the half day.

Look into getting the Triangle Pass (not sure if that's the right name) which gets you York/Jamestown and Williamsburg. It's cheaper than al la carte and cheaper, too, if you're a VA resident.
We did it last year - there was some program they had to entice people to go to Williamsburg (it's in heavy debt) and so they offered a pass for all 3 places for $XX.00. DH did the math and it paid for itself in 1 visit so we went multiple times throughout the course of the year).

Thanks everyone, this is very helpful! I think my kids are a little old for Great Wolf Lodge, 11 and 12. That focuses more on younger children, right? Yorktown is a good suggestion to add. What are the things not to miss there?

Because maybe it wouldn't be interesting to either super young or super older kids?

2 days Williamsburg. We also loved Yorktown. Might be able to do Yorktown and a 2nd day at Williamsburg in one day.

I think it depends on the weather. If it sucks, you’ll want less time at all of these places.

Yup, this is what we did last year and even so, it wasn't really enough time. We could have done another couple of days, to include Yorktown and some more general sightseeing (there was a park with boat rentals that I thought might have been fun).

Yes that itinerary will work, we did something similar last year with ES and MS kids. We stayed at the Embassy Suites which has free breakfast and an indoor pool and free happy hour. It was well located and clean.

I’m thinking about a mini spring break trip to Williamsburgh with one elementary school and one middle school kid. It has been many years since I was there and i’m trying to figure out how long is reasonable to be there and an itinerary. Is it reasonable to plan one full day in Williamsburgh, one full day in Jamestown and one full day at Busch Gardens? Will we want more or less than a day at any of these locations? TIA
