It definitely feels a little strange - it sounds so old. I feel like I should be turning forty, not fifty. That being said, I'm in a great place in my life - great husband, kid, job. Parents still alive and healthy. So I feel very fortunate, if a little stunned at really truly being at the upper end of middle-aged!
