I also didn’t use the syringe. We used it the month I got preg, but idk if it was bc of that.

This. It helps when you want a little extra "help" for having timed sex. It's better than other options. If you just use the small amount it takes to, um, help you out and NOT use the syringe at all it will last a very long time.

Used it when I conceived my daughter. I like having it on hand for when the OPK gods say it's time but I'm not totally feeling it for whatever reason.

Pre-seed sounds like the UPS guy half an hour before DH gets home.

Our fertility nurse recommended vegetable oil and it worked for us.

Not for us - our OBGYN recommended baby oil instead of pre-seed. He said it was just as good.

We never used the syringe. Just a tiny amount as it's quite slippery. We have 2 DDs to show for it, but can't be sure whether it was because of it or not!

Never needed it with first child. Second child took 14 months to conceive and we used it for 6 months so I don’t think it made a difference. BUT DHs sperm were very strong and very high in number so it makes sense that helping them didn’t make a difference.

Hahaha! The first time I used I filled up the syringe to 4 and sex was comical. Now I use only .25 or .5. It hasn’t worked yet

Didn't work for us, but I think it's a pretty good option IF YOU ONLY USE A TINY AMOUNT. The PP who said it was slippery was absolutely right. Proceed with caution, you need a teeny tiny amount or else it's a freaking slip and slide.

I did not work for us. But it was a lot cheaper than IVF so we had to try it first.

I just recently purchased it and will stop using it. It made me too wet and slippery. So it was not enjoyable for either DH or myself. If you are producing any bit of egg-white CM, I wouldn't bother.

Sigh, I don't know, but I use it.

Pros:
If you need lube anyways, it's a sperm safe option unlike most lubes and oils.
If you have little cervical mucus, it "mimics" CM so it hypothetically gives sperm a better chance of getting to the cervix

However:
If you have hostile cervical mucus (thick and creamy), that CM is still in your cervix and uterus, so the preseed isn't going to do much to counter that.
It's expensive.

I've also used Conceive Plus, which I think works the same as Preseed.

Have you tried preseed? Any other recommended brands?
