This is AA...no one is throwing the ball hard enough to create the slightest bruise.
And I say this as a proud alum of WSLL many, many years ago.

Make sure he learns to turn his back to the pitch and take it in the backside.

It is good.

You will be so proud of the growth by the 3nd of the season. WSLL is a very strong program.

I do hear they get hit when the kids first start pitching, but i hear they get on base more, for that reason.

My 7 year old will be in AA in WSLL this spring; he previously played A ball in both spring and fall in 2017. He's quite nervous about getting hit by pitches (can't say I blame him!).

A ball was pretty laid back. Any insight on how moving up a level will be?
