Cya is getting ready to start their spring season.

Yes, of course. SYA, CYA, FPYC (all servicing different areas in FFX county, and there may be others) all have rec basketball leagues in the winter. Some also have summer leagues.

They are a mixed bag of normal kids/parents, and parents who are crazy (and the kids super aggressive). But, I suppose that's everywhere these days.

Does such a thing exist in Fairfax? My daughter is interested in learning/playing but is probably not strong enough to make the high school team:/
