Late 20s female. In the past 6 mos, I tried Match, OKC & I put looking for LTR, still got dic pic, inappropraite messages, liars and creeps. I found virtually no professional men, very few attractive ones. Athletic? They all had hiking & camping pics, so I don't know about that. ALL of the men I met online, except 3 were either looking for a texting/messaging quasi relationship or sex. I don't know if it is the anonymity- or if women act like human mattresses so men pigs have a sense of entitlement or what, but I'm done.

What apps did you use the most? And on the off chance that you weren't using apps but instead sites like Match or OKC, your experience is likely too dated to be of help to the 25 year old OP.

Mid 20s? Def rec leagues. I personally know two friends who married men they met on our kickball team. Plus a whole lot of fun on and off the field on our soccer team. Look at bocce league too. If nothing else you can have as much sex as you want with some nice guys.

OP can use it supplementally, but nothing beats going out and meeting people in person.

Try some coed recreational sports leagues like DC Fray. There are lots around.

I am in my mid 20s and most of my friends, old college classmates, and coworkers, no matter the age, are in a couple or married. I really don't have much interaction with single men.

I would love to meet some men who I could connect with. I am very active (fitness wise), I am pretty smart, have a good career with great direction, and am considered reasonable attractive. I also try my best to live by the golden rule. I do not want to do online dating. Where in person (meet up group?) can I meet men who may be a good match for me?
