Same here. I reordered the list and put the ones DD had no chance of getting into towards the bottom.

Sorry, never mind I see you then accepted that spot. But you were able to reorder the list before accepting so that you didn't lose schools below it on the list?

Thanks pps. To the last poster, if the school was truly your second choice, and you reordered it further down your list, that means if you did get into the " highly sought after" charters your second favorite option would then be off the table. NOT understanding why you would do that?

You will be only be matched at one school.
If that school is first on your list,, you are done.
If that school is not first on your list, you will also be on the wait list for everything ranked higher than where you matched. You will see what number on the wait list you are.
People who say they got multiple offers mean that they matched at a school, and either enrolled or turned it down.
And then later were offered a match at a different school they were wait listed. If they decide to enroll at the second school, they give up their initial school, and any schools they had ranked below the second school where they matched.

I think that means they were waitlisted but contacted by several schools that a spot opened up.

I'm sure it's a dumb question, and I know I saw somewhere on MyschoolDC that you get only ONE offer on March 30, but.....I keep reading references to getting into multiple schools?
Let's say by some miracle DS gets into his first or 2 or 11th choice school but for whatever reason we decided we changed our mind and dont want it anymore. Can he refuse the spot and move down to another school? I don't think thats how it works but why do people refer to getting into multiple schools?
