Add all of them. Takes 5 minutes, doesn't cost a thing.
Many schools have plenty of foreign kids who have to leave in the middle of the school year.

My DCs class size at WOTP elementary has been 20-23.

If your child needs smaller class size / school.

Try for Key, Mann, Hyde, Murch, Eaton. If you were to luck out and get into any of those, you have a nice bath to Hardy Middle School which might be a good fit for middle school.

Lafayette and Janney are really large schools.

absolutely you have a chance. don't listen to all the flippant "no" people. It all comes down to how many sections of 3rd grade the school has and how many re-enrolling/IB 3rd grade students there are. If some peel off for private reducing class sizes to 18 or 19 then absolutely, the principal will call the waitlist to get those classes up to 20, if not a bit more. Every additional student are budget dollars. Plus, central office sets the enrollment target and the principal will be under pressure to meet that goal.

Hyde-Addison is worth trying, we got in off wait list as 3rd grade last year. (Don't know class size, we ended up elsewhere).

Last year both Janney and Lafayette took students in upper grades. No one expected that to happen.

Same could happen again - or not.

Hearst 2nd grade is biggest in the school. No OOB have been added to that class since K.

Or it’s 100% possible since the stats are published every year. I know, google is amazing isnt it ?

Do I have any chance to get in out of bounds applying for my son for third grade? I was also thinking I would put Eaton, Hearst on my list. Son needs a small classroom environment with good teachers as may have processing delay.
