Cheap even for a 1 br?

Cheap for a hotel. Even in OC the decent oceanfront hotels are more than that a night.

They are more like $500/night.

+1

That is what I thought. What is the attraction to Sea Colony?

It's cheaper than the houses and there aren't high rise hotels in Bethany.

Sea colony beach is private. Can’t Be worse than beach in front of residence inn

I agree. $251/night during prime season is cheap.

that seems ok. I think that the last time we went we spent close to $1800 for the week, but that was prime time/first week in August. We rented a 2 bedroom, back further/near the tennis courts.

We haven't go back to Sea Colony since because it's over priced and I hated having to take the trolley thing to the beach.

Thanks for the recommendation. Looks like the Residence Inn starts at $351 for a studio suite for my dates so I guess my $225 for a 1 br is pretty good???

What's a good per-night price at Sea Colony (in Bethany) for a 1 or 2 br? We're dipping our toe into a beach trip for the first time this year - just DH, me and DS. It'll be the week just after FCPS gets out - June 16-23. 2 br would be ideal but seems tough to find right now. We also may not go for the whole week if that makes a difference.

Full disclosure: I already booked a place and am trying to figure out if it's a good deal or if I should keep looking (it's fully refundable for a while yet). $225/night for a 1 br beachside. This does not include the price of the badge.
