Unless you are IB, why do you go to the Open Houses for these schools? Shooting for the tiny (1-2 number possibility of upper elementary?) Don't waste an OOB PK4 slot on Stoddert, Mann and Eaton?

Same. I was surprised by Stokes small outdoor space.

Two Rivers 4th as well. and right on a busy road!

And next door to a building that could be the target of terrorists.

Dead set, no. But I've definitely had my mind changed by open houses. Francis-Stevens moved up, for example, while Two Rivers moved down.

Langley moved up. I liked the principal and the socioemotional stuff.

Some schools that do great open houses are just meh to attend. And vice versa.

Some schools unexpectedly wowed me. Others put me off with a take it or leave it attitude, refusing to answer questions until we actually got in.

Hey everyone. Has anyone been dead set on certain schools, but then changed your minds after you went to various open houses?
