Another important piece of information: DH is EXTREMELY frugal and this car is over our price range. However, he’s encouraging me to get this one because of the savings and the excellent condition of the car. It’s kind of a miracle that this car is even in the table.

So is that color offensive or at all yucky, or just boring? Please be honest.

Is this car still something available often, or hard to find? I had a beige car before the black one I drive now, and black shows everything and the beige didn’t.

This is why you shouldn't get your hopes up for a specific color. Instead, identify the ugly colors that are dealbreakers. Then everything else is fair game.

We've saved tons of money over the years buying cars with a less popular color (including teal/turquoise).

I would. The car I have now...I wanted a black car for years. I wouldn’t have settled for any other choice. Within a month I started noticing every tiny scratch. I can’t stand it!!! I can’t wait to get rid of it!

Post the color. I'd buy it. I have already decided to save money by buying used. I drive my cars forever, it will be scratched in no time. I just need a car that is safe and runs well. Hell with the color unless it's neon.

Agree that the beige doesn’t show dirt so you’ll save on car washes, too.

My last used car, we didn’t care about the only ok color because money was tighter. This time, my DH said he was willing to pay approx $1000 more for the color he wanted (blue) bc money wasn’t as tight. I didn’t really care, but he did, so we did it. Depends on you, I guess.

Unless the color was offensive, I'd buy it. My car color just does not matter to me that much.

I know it's dumb, but I probably wouldn't buy it. I drive cars until they die, so 10-15 years of staring at a color I disliked would bother me.

A white car is a dealbreaker for me. But no other color. I know white is popular, but to me it screams government fleet car.

I am not a huge fan of beige, either, but I'd buy it, especially for a good savings like that.

Buy it ans wrap it in your color of choice?

That would not be a dealbreaker for me. And by the way metallic beige hides dirt. Much better than black or blue does

I'm in the market for a very particular used car and found one that's perfect, and even costs about $1,500 less than comparable ones I've seen The only problem is that I find the color to be meh. It's not terrible, but it's not one of my first choices. I really wanted black or a deep metallic blue but this one is a light metallic beige.

Should this be a dealbreaker? Can't decide if it will bother me in the long term or I'll just get used to it.
