Useless and just designed to make you feel better. Unless of course all the kids are going through TSA Airport type screenings prior to entering the building.

Our private has full time security on campus.


Most public high schools do too.

There's a reason countries in Europe have put a travel advisory on the US to be careful of all the violence in this country. A small minority of selfish gunowners is holding our country hostage.

Do you remember the Amish school shooting? Private schools aren't immune either.

Life is a risk. I will not put my kids in a bubble. Statistically they are more likely to die in a car crash than at school. Is it terrifying and depressing and horrific to think about? YES. Will it stop me from sending kids to school? No.

I don't think private schools are immune to gun violence. It's only a matter of time..

We can't keep are kids in a bubble and they are more likely to die in a car accident then a school shooting. I know how you feel, the same thoughts run through my head, but we need to think with a level head.
