It has made me much stronger. My core is stronger and my legs are stronger. My balance is also better. That said it does not make you thinner. If anything you can bulk up your legs and butt somewhat. Not in a bad way - it is great for toning and strength - but it is not a weight-loss mechanism. I know a lot of people that had that experience.
