Subject: Best neighborhood for DH and i to stay in Chicago
I think we stayed in the "north loop" which was a great location from which to explore the city. We did the hop-on, hop-off bus, which was really fun!

River North. Close to everything, including the Magnificent Mile for shopping. Lots of restaurants and bars.

Somewhere on the Miracle Mile. Or the Fairmont Millenium Park. Or the Monaco on Wabash.

We will be meeting in Chicago for a romantic weekend together. We don't plan on renting a car and would like to be in a walkable neighborhood with great restaurants, bars, and shopping. Recommendations?
