My 2011 Sienna is not great in snow either. The key is to replace tires about every 2 years. Then it will be ok with the snow and wet roads.

You need to test drive both and decide which one you like better and compare prices. They are both great choices.

What years! I had a 2011 and then a 2014 (still have this one) and both have been great in the snow.

And I'm a Honda girl, every one of the four cars I've owned has been a Honda. When we last got the minivan, an Odyssey, I actually drove the Odyssey to the Toyota dealer and put it right next to the Sienna and compared. Still ended up with the Honda...

We have 3 Siennas, including one from 2001. Toyotas do last longer...and they cost slightly less.

Yep! And that’s why I still have my 2003 SiEmma. I figure why bother switching out my car if it would look the same as my 2003 model. This is because I do not want to go to Honda, I want to stay with Toyota. I still feel safe driving from here to the beach, to maine, to Vermont, etc. So a part of me feels like I really shouldn’t be switching my car out, I just want to have a newer model with all the bells and whistle‘s.

Sienna looks so similar for the last 8 years. Odyssey looks different so I’d get that.

You have to go drive them. The Toyota felt much smaller to me than the Odyssey when I sat in it (less headroom), which surprised me. You will be spending a lot of time in it so make sure it feels right. Mechanically, you’ll be fine either way — they are both good cars.

Can’t go wrong with either.

My mechanic swears that toyotas last longer than any other cars ( this is after telling me that my Honda Odyssey needed $3k of work). I guess I chose the wrong car ten years ago!

Anyone have one of these. I'm in the market for a new minivan and would appreciate any feedback. TIA.
