It seems like the DC consensus is $15-25, generally (I searched the archives). Is this true in NYC? Every party we attend seems to cost $900-1500 for 8-10 kids - yikes!; no one does home parties, here, and even these parties aren’t extravagant (in terms of party food/activities, etc.). Thankfully, our child’s birthday is many months away, so we do not need to worry about hosting...yet!
