I won’t run on ice or if it’s super windy. We lived in MI for a decade and it gets very cold there. As long as the path wasn’t hazardous I’d be out there, barring frostbite advisories (frostbite risk with 5 minute exposure).
I’m far more sensitive to heat, so depending on humidity and the heat index, I usually cut off around 75 degrees, which means early morning or late evening runs. I’ll pass out if I get overheated, and fainting on the trail isn’t an ideal situation, so avoiding heat is a must.
