Are you still really good looking? Sometimes I jokingly ask if my really pretty friends are models. Do your friends ever do that to you, and you say well actually yes!

Ha! No, I would describe myself as someone who can pull herself together, but on a daily basis I look like your typical harried middle-aged woman. I was tall 5'9.5 and tiny. I was also all arms and legs. Like when I sit next to my 4'11 kid we're the same size, but when I stand up, I shoot up. Friends who learn about my past can connect the dots when they see pictures, but it's like another lifetime ago in many ways. I like my life and as strange as it sounds I had more fun taking my kids on a Disney cruise than I did partying, I mean "networking"' on a yacht with a bunch of jerky rich guys. I hated the constant danger I faced during the 6 years I was a working model. I avoided drugs and didn't drink, but I had many close calls with dangerous men.

I testified before Congress. But not on CSPAN

Actually, I was on Sesame Street in first grade. They came to my school to film a stand alone song, which aired for YEARS. All the kids I babysat used to tell me when they saw me on TV. I was on TV for approximately 2 whole seconds.

I walked across the room in a Senate hearing and was seen on C-Span by my father.

I've had 15 minutes of notoriety. It's not fun.

Love it! I was in a very popular commercial overseas that helped pay for grad school. When I travel to that region, sometimes people call out my commercial's catchphrase want to take pictures with me. I could see it getting annoying if it happened at home but it's fun when I'm travelling.

I was in a commercial for my college that aired twice every game during a football season. I got recognized by people in my department, but not really otherwise.

My cousin routinely does. She's a news reporter and every so often someone will recognize her. She never gets anything free because of it.

If so, what were the circumstances? Did it change your life in any way?

I have not, but I wonder about this from time to time.
