+1 And, while socially liberal, they are not overtly political. Just very active in social justice mission work -- monthly community service, summer mission trips for middle/high school students. Middle school meets on Sunday evenings. Not sure when HS is meeting but the info is on the website.

OP where are you now? What about St. Mary's Episcopal on Glebe Road? https://stmarysarlington.org I don't know if they "get into politics."

Alternatively would you be fine with an Anglican (breakaway from Episcopal - more evangelical) church? If so there are other options in Falls Church (TFC Anglican) and Fairfax (Truro and Church of the Apostles) and my guess is that their youth programs would be large.

We love UUCA (Unitarian).

Also would be interested in one that doesn't necessarily require the whole family to attend the church. DH doesn't want to leave the church we have been attending, but I think the kids need something different, so I'm trying to patch together a solution where we could continue to attend the worship service with DH at his favorite church but have the kids participate in youth programs elsewhere. Also prefer a church that does not get into politics.
