Here in Newport Beach (CA) we pay $72.50 for 30 mins.

Although it's not "covered by insurance", the provider gives us a super-bill which I then submit to our insurance.

They cover 70% until we reach our deductible, at which point it's covered at 100%. But we still have to pay the provider in full, submit to insurance, then we get a check in the mail.

We use Sharon Coale at ABC Kids Therapy
Our insurance covers it but I think it's quite a bit less than what has been posted. I think it's around $65/45min session

Mine would only cover if the diagnosis was from autism or a stroke. Having a speech impediment didn’t get coverage. We paid $135 for each 40 minute session for years (our rates were locked in from 4 years ago). It crushed our budget, we went once a week.

We are paying $150 per hour for sessions at our house. Our therapist has a special certification relevant to our child’s condition which is hard to find. We are paying OOP until we hit our deductible then our insurance is covering 80%.

Insurance "covered" it by reimbursing $25 of the $125 charged. That's with an autism diagnosis.

It really varies by insurance. Ours covered all but a small co-pay once we were able to get the provider we wanted in-network (otherwise they paid none).

Its anywhere from $100-150+. It really varies by provider and length of time. U of MD, Loyola in Columbia and GW all have lower cost speech therapy by students at their clinics in the speech pathology schools. Some are sliding fee if money is tight. Scottish Rite also has a program - someone told me about it but never tried them.

In my six years of speech with my kid, I've generally seen rates of 100-120 for an hour session in the office.

How much do you pay for speech therapy? My insurance isn’t going to cover it and I can’t find any prices on any websites. I want to know how much to budget. Thanks.
