I did this a few years back. I divided the girls into two groups I think. One room had pedicures (I bought a bunch of big plastic tubs and they soaked their feet while listening to relaxing music). You could then have them paint each other's toenails (I hired a neighborhood girl to help) while the other made their own bath salts in the kitchen. I think we also did face masks. Just set up a few stations and have them rotate around. You need supervision in the pedicure room where there is water . . . otherwise just leave printed instructions that they can follow.

I'm the PP who posted about kids having a crafty party to make scrubs and soaps. Just to clarify--we didn't hire someone to come in and do it with the girls. I got the soap-making materials from the craft store and most sugar scrub ingredients from the grocery store, etc. Found instructions online and in craft books. And we didn't do lip balms but there are make-your-own lip balm recipes out there too....

Would they enjoy making their own spa stuff? My DD had a party at that age where they made homemade soaps (I helped with microwaving the soap bases, they added colors and scents and molded the soaps). They also mixed up sugar scrubs and decorated jars to put the scrubs in. They had a great time. Just an idea for a variation on the spa theme.

What are your daughter's favorite things about a spa?

With a group of girls at a party, most of their time will be eaten up by chatter and giggling. Have a couple cute elements to set the "theme" and the rest will fall into place.

Some extras to have: gossip magazines, cucumber/lemon water, comfy robes, slippers, relaxing spa music (find a channel on Pandora)

Put together some funky nail polish colors, stickers/bling, acetone, clippers/files, good hand lotion. Have warm water in bowls for soaking fingers. Show them girls how to push their cuticles back (I wouldn't introduce cutting cuticles at a party though). Research some at-home manicure tips on Youtube.

Duly noted. Most parents I know already take their DDs to the salon for nails, etc. And the kids are still able to play. Imagine being able to do both things.

Sephora has a whole bunch of sheet masks - face, hands, feet, lips, eyes for about $5 each.

Depending on how many girls there are going to be, you could take your DD to Sephora and have her pick out a selection that look fun (or just order them online.)

Then get some nail polish in fun colors and manicure supplies and let them have fun!

Face masks and manicures? My teenage daughter and a couple of her friends did this for her younger sister's party when she was about 8 or 9. It was a lot of fun!
