It just sounds like a robot posting, that’s all. It’s obviously not meant to generate discussion. These boards are to discuss issues. Not just post advertisements for events.

The list of camps at this event is set - obviously this is an attempt to get people to come to this event in the hopes of signing up for something. Nobody comes up with a paragraph on their own and posts it just to be nice. This is a copied advertisement.

This is not particularly a list of summer camps geared towards AAP kids. Any camp can pay to get a table and advertise.
