We used a speech therapist to evaluate reading comprehension. Tests administered included:
Expressive one-word picture vocabulary test
Test of Language Competence
Clinical Evaluation of Language Fundamentals (the understanding paragraphs subtest)
Phonological Awareness Test (he had a previous diagnosis of dyslexia, so we wanted to know what role that was playing -- answer, none to little)
Woodcock Johnson Reading Battery
Gray Oral Reading Test (there's also a Gray Silent Reading Test -- I don't know when one is used over the other)
