I came here to ask a drop off question. Just got an invite for six year old party that says "drop offs welcome." Does that probably mean "we prefer that you drop of your child but you can stay if you must"? We don't know the parents more than in passing, but it's a kid who has recently become my child's main recess buddy. All other class parties have had parents stay so far.

1 - make it 90 minutes - by 2 hours you will be pulling your hair out.
2 - get extra hands to help with craft
3 - make sure you have extra activities planned in case it does not go as planned. Play musical chairs - have a dance party - play freeze dance (do not have a winner / tell people they are out)
4 - start with a simple activity as they arrive - maybe have a paper bag they will color / put stickers on that will be their goody bag?
5 - set guidelines - are they allowed up in bedrooms to play with toys?
6 - the minute 1 person goes to the bathroom they all will need to go - be prepared for that.
Have fun!
