OP here, checked them out in person. Warehouse next door is pretty ugly, but townhome itself is open and spacious. Seems like a good value for being close-ish to metro.

Unsurprising. I haven't found townhomes to vary all that much in design and layout. The question is whether you want to be in rural North Carolina or in a sleepy neighborhood in DC.

Having lived in NC that's pretty much the price differential. 500k or more here, 200k or so there.

Like the idea of a new build, but not the reality of living next to a large building (I believe it is a food bank) and waste transfer station. Just perusing options before spring.

On a hot day I am sure you can smell Fort Totten from your front yard. A big plus.
