That's impressive - if you succeed tonight, three times in nine days and you're in your 60's is something I'd like to achieve in my 40's. What's in your water?

I was off for 2 weeks between Christmas and New years and DH unexpectedly had some time off/wasn't working non-stop. We did it like a bunch of teenagers (with the kids at daycare). It was lovely. Now I am worried I am pregnant again haha jk ... well not really but we shall see. I suck at taking my stupid BC and of course missed a few pills over NYE since we went to bed so late!

We came home from the holidays to a clean house, well rested, and then holed up and both teleworked through the worst of the weather next to a nice fire. We've had a lot of rest and together time and were in just the right frame of mind to be intimate and loving. Right now we're on a good pace though I'm sure it will wax and wane.

3x the first week, nothing since, but both DH and i are sick, I anticipate we'll get back to it once we get well.

Had sex once this year, so that's good. But, I'm not at all optimistic about what our sex life will look like this year.

In January 2017, I made a resolution to initiate more often. I didn't initiate a ton -- but between January and June, I initiated 10 times and was rejected 9 of them. (We had sex another 5 or 6 times during that period when she initiated).

I maybe initiated once or twice the rest of the year, without success, and we had sex another 5 or 6 times. So, basically, my level of effort initiating didn't make a difference. She has to work herself into the mood, and she only seems to make that effort about once a month.

2x a week on average.

Jan 4! No reason to think it wont continue regularly

Yes, we had a frank talk that happened to be around NYE (not a resolution) and committed to change our habits. Like the new gym goers, will have to work to keep it going past January but so far the changes are encouraging.

Am celibate this year. Already freaking out.

Yes! Had forgotten that DH likes short skirts/shorts so I (unintentionally) threw on a pair of tiny bed shorts last night and magically our draught ended. Men are so simple.

Yup. We had some lovey arc on our ore nye break (sans toddler) and then kept it going on the new year with some delightful weekend nap time shower and sex. We manage about twice a week since we are both exhausted. Weekend nap time is usually our prime time. We enjoy ourselves and take a 30 min snooze in broad daylight. The house is a little messier and dinners are a little simpler those days but we are happier.

Has anyone gotten it on this year and at a good pace?

Asking since there are so many sexless marriage threads and wondering if some tried to relight the fire, or continue on with the pace they has in 2017.
