I enjoyed reading it. My children are almost 9 years apart and I found different sections enlightening based on my kids ages. There is good advice for all ages from toddlerhood through teen years.

I particularly liked that it looked at the full span of childhood and was not focused on only toddler, preschool, elementary or teens. You can get something different from it for each stage. Some chapters I've gone back to, a few I skimmed through.

Great reference and book to talk about with your parenting partner(s).

Excellent book. We'd all be happier if everyone read it and followed her advice.

It's in my nightstand. A teacher recommended it to me.

Anytime be read? I’m really enjoying very anti helicopter parents. It’s crazy how nuts we’ve all become. Or at least many of us especially in this area.
