There is one. Go to the General Parenting forum and you'll find a sticky thread at the top of the forum where people ask what abbreviations mean. It's long, but virtually every acronym used on DCUM is covered. If you find one that isn't you can ask and someone will answer. It may take a couple of days because people don't always read the thread but it will be answered.

I thought “DC” “DS” “DD” meant dead child ... etc.
Someone told me that and I took their word for it I guess. It would be appalling the way some people would reference their deceased children, so casually like it’s nothing. I figured parents with deceased children probably want a place to talk and Internet forums must be a nice way to connect. It wasn’t until a friend added me to a Facebook Mom group, they had all of the abbreviations explained.

UMC. I mean obviously it means upper middle class. Obviously. Except I started reading DCUM when I was looking to buy a house and really only ever read the real estate forum. I kid you not I thought it meant "university of Maryland college" and I kept thinking wow a lot of people work there. I know I'm an idiot. I always saw it in the context of "interesting neighborhood, lots of UMC people there" and I just assumed they meant employees of the university. Yeah I know.
