+1. The total lack of self awareness is mesmerizing. No one here is ever responsible for any of their own unhappiness. It's always someone else's fault. Every decision they have ever made is right and the people around them just will not allow them to be happy. Lack of self awareness or big ego? Not sure but funny as hell

Some of the non parenting forums are useful (jobs, money, real estate) or provocative (politics). The relationship discussion is simply entertaining! Husband bashing is always a hoot but once in awhile there is dating stuff that is helpful (for not what to do) for a single guy. The explicit forum seems to be populated with very strange people.

Prior to being married I visited the money and finance and the jobs forums. The money forum was good to start with but I've learned that Bogleheads far superior. The jobs forum is pretty decent and I learned a lot about the federal system in terms of the hiring process and various benefits. I also learned a lot about the house buying process from the real estate forum.

Oh, I see. I interpreted OP's question as something like "Why do married men come on DCUM?", asking why married men would come here since it's mostly just wives complaining. But I see now she meant "Why do never-before-married men come on DCUM?". Thanks for the polite correction.
