NP. How do you do the walking at home? Wouldn’t that require a treadmill? I’m in a similar situation to OP - haven’t worked out since first was born 5 years ago and live in an apt/condo - but need to do it while kids are asleep (single now).

You walk (more step or march) in place.

LoL.

Yes, you walk or match in place with some variation at a fast enough tempo, 1 mile is 15 minutes. 2 miles is 30 minutes. 3 miles is 45 minutes.

Ellen Barrett and Gilad and the others I mentioned don't usually involve complicated steps to learn. You can use your own body weight for strength training or buy a set of 3 and 5 pound free weights. You will get a great workout without pounding your joints or making a lot of noise.

There's a Jillian Michael 21 day shred DVD and it's a great, short work out, less than 30 minutes.

But my favorite is Taebo classic, which you can find on YouTube. I'm not sure if it just reminds me of my 20s or what, but I keep going back to it. It's longer though, maybe 40 minutes.

I second Fitness Blender. I do the HIIT workouts and like them.

I think beach body on demand can be great. It will give you workouts for a number of weeks (like 4 weeks) and then you can bump up to a harder level. I just think there's clarity on programs. Unlike YouTube where you really have to browse to find a workout for each day. It's harder to find continuity on YouTube when you're first starting out.

I literally haven’t worked out in 5 years since I got pregnant with my first child. My biggest issue is time so I want to find a way to work out at home in the mornings or evenings.

Can anyone recommend a great at-home workout video program? I need something easy to follow/learn but a good workout (I am really not coordinated), ideally 30 mins max and something that doesn’t require any or a ton of equipment. I have been seeing a ton of BBG buzz but worried it is too hard and might be noisy because we live in an apartment and I don’t know how much I can jump around.
