That builder grade home is 15 years old. I guarantee it will need a new HVAC system shortly if they haven't already replaced it. I assume school's are awful too.

Pretty bland and ordinary to me. I'd hardly call it beautiful.
But the house isn't too bad. It's biggest flaw and it is a glaring flaw, is that massive gable over the central block. It's waaaaaaaaay too big and utterly unnecessary. It dominates the house and skews the proportions and makes it look heavy handed. The builder (as there was obviously no architect involved) should have stuck to a straightforward and traditional roof line.
