I’m not opposed to Iceland per se but I can think of sooo many other places I’d want to see first before going there.

Not real interested in Peru or Ecuador.

Mexico. Why anyone would want to go to a crime-ridden country like that is beyond me (and I have been to many places around the world, including Mexico long ago).

I can't imagine why anyone would say Italy or Spain. Those might be my two favorite countries I've visited.

As for Iceland, I would adore the outdoor adventure aspects but shudder at the price.

I have no interest in the Middle East or Africa, though I know it's stupid to lump all countries of those regions into one. Why no interest? Because I'm 50 now and have kids and am less adventurous than I once was.

I went there on an all-expenses paid trip, but I wouldn't return on my own dime -- Hawaii.

We went to Honolulu (Waikiki/Pearl Harbor), Maui (Grand Wailea which everyone raves about), and Kona.

Beautiful but not worth the distance and expense IMO.

Greece.

I wouldn’t turn down a free trip to Paris but it’s not high on my list of travel priorities for some reason. Not like it is for other people.

Iceland looks pretty but I just don't have interest.

I never really thought about going anywhere in Asia until recently. I've all of a sudden thought taking my family to Japan would be fun.
