I had a 3 series for 10 years and only gave it up when I needed more room but was great.

I average 10-12 years per car.

DH drives a 2006 Highlander (bought in 2005) - this might be the last year for it, probably will replace it at the end of 2018. I drive a 2011 Sienna (bought in 2010), hoping to drive it for at least 3 more years, maybe 5. So you're not the only one, OP. Both cars have been completely reliable and required only normal maintenance. They are also both paid off, which is a really nice bonus.

It seems like people in this area hold on to cars for a long time! Maybe it's just DCUM. My car is 2010, about 100,000 miles. I'll probably replace it in a year or two.

Hoping to keep ours for at least 15 years. Currently driving a 12 year old Honda Odyssey with 120k miles.

a long time... I am driving a 2007 honda civic with 115k on it and its running fine. I imagine I will keep it for 3 - 5 more years and then get a CRV 2 - 3 years used.

Because I'm single and don't have a backup car or other driver to rescue me, I keep them until they are causing trouble that basic upkeep and easy repairs don't fix. So I keep mine for about 12-13 years.

15 years, but I drive a Camry and they seem to last forever and run well. I'm still driving around in a 2004 Camry that is doing awesome with minimal repairs (I spend less than 500 bucks a year on repairs).

My parents hold them forever. Still have the bug they bought in 1970.

I feel like I'm the only person in NOVA who holds onto their cars for 10+ years.
