Wrap it!

Get it vinyl wrapped, it will not be cheap but still cheaper than repainting the whole car.

As previous poster mentioned you want to make sure you get a good paint job too because don't want to have to redo it in a couple of years.

Not sure if it's the same with that dark blue you're thinking of but dark colored cars are really hard to keep clean. That's one of the reasons why people say to not get black cars. They look really nice when clean but you always have to work to keep it clean. But I noticed the same thing with my dark gray car. For example with this most recent snow all of the salt stains were pretty visible on my car. When looking closely it was noticeable on other lighter, like silver, colored cars as well but not as much.

It would not be expensive to buff out the scratches. IT would be very expensive to repaint the whole thing well.

The problem is then things liek when you open the door -- the inside sill will be the old color. Same with opening the hood. It'll look weird.

They also have an in-house detailer who can look at a paint repair to get the scratches out. I'm pretty sure they wrap "normal" vehicles also.

I have a 2015 Mazda 6. It's white. I thought I would love a white car, but I see all kinds of marks, dings and recently my son scratched the hell up of my hood with his bike.

I would love to have a dark blue color instead.

Anyone have their whole car re-painted? What kind of out of pocket cost would it be for a quality job? I assume an auto-body shop would be ideal here.

Alternatively, would it cost a lot to have the marks buffed out and scratches fixed reasonably?
