Thanks for sticking up for me mom and dad he was absuive. End of story. We aren't getting back together. I deserve better.

My family keeps urging me to reconcile with my ex. He is/was emotionally abusive, financially controlling, with severe anger issues. He also cheated on me. They keep saying things like "he's not a bad guy" and that they're praying we get back together. I feel like I'm the bad guy here and it hurts. How to handle?
