Anonymous wrote:PP from 9:35 again. Just to address the "safety school" aspect -- I was top of my high school class and had won state and national academic awards. I chose K over other more prestigious schools because of what it offered. I got a great education and went to a top (HYPS) graduate school. I could have had more academic rigor and probably a peer group at a higher academic level at a different school, but K was right for me and I wouldn't be where I am and who I am if I'd gone elsewhere.
