Subject: How long do you wait to see if couples therapy works?
We agreed after the fourth session that we both felt it was helpful.
1st - giving history/background
2nd - one person airing grievances
3rd - other airing theres
4th - actually listening to each other and compromising starts

not infidelity. emotional abuse and overall toxicity. DH is interested in showing up for sessions but i don't know how long i have it in me to wait for results.

If it’s for infidelity don’t bother. Otherwise it depends on how committed you both are to making it work.
