This has got to be the dumbest response I have ever read.

This may come as a surprise to you but this is a discussion board people can post their own opinions, and wait for it people don't always agree with you or the OP.

Big shock coming, we don't have to mindlessly support OP just because she's female, that really kills discussion.

Does he look at vacations like it's a chore? I like staycations and I am attached to my phone (used to be attracted to a book) on away vacations.

You want things to be 100% how you would do them all the time.

EVERY single time I see DH he is staring at his phone. Dinner, beach, pool, in bed, always staring at his phone. It makes me feel sad, disappointed and sometimes angry. Tomorrow is our last day of vacation and we don’t have one family picture. Every time there was a potential good shot, DH was too busy staring at his phone. I asked him to please leave his phone and he said I won’t let him relax.

I took a walk with the baby expecting DH to be spending quality time with our middle child and he was staring at his phone. He will sit in bed watching YouTube videos with our infant.

He will go back to work and my memory of this trip is DH ignoring all of us for his phone.

Is it so wrong of me to want DH to put his phone down during family time?

When we are home and DH watches the kids, I usually come home to everyone staring at a screen.
