So you don't know cars. thats OK... cars can go out of alignment i woudl not check it annually, but every few years is nice. and checking the alignment usually doesn't cost much

shock are close to being shot, and after 60K miles on shitty DC area roads, things get out of whack
they can put it on the rack and tell you if fall into the spec or not with out doing any work.
are your tires showing signs of abnormal wear? does the car pull to one side or the other abnormally...
