Ah, I guessed there was some underlying issue. I can understand his irritation if he doesn't have trees, but you do and they're the leaves in question.

If you're out there anyway with your leaf blower, is there any reason why you'd think it's unreasonable for you to get the leaves on his side too that also came from your tree? Obviously not if there are fences and things involved, but if you're talking about the front yard then I honestly can't see what the fuss is about.

Are there any trees in his yard?

I've dealt with people like that before. He sounds like an old Boomer who is bored and thirsting for a confrontation. Don't engage him. Buy a mulching mower and just mow over the leaves - it will make your grass even nicer come spring. If you really feel threatened, contact the police.

He sounds mentally ill. You either need to ignore him completely or videotape him next time and call the cops for trespass. I had a neighbor like this, he Das crazy. We ignored him and he thankfully was a Boomer and recently sold his house and retired.

I’d take him up on the offer and contact the police. I feel threatened just reading this post.

Blow them back. Be sure to do it when he's away at work.

Let it go, OP, and never engage him again. Smile and say "good morning" or whatever but do not engage him in any argument ever again. He is unhinged and could be armed. You hear about things like this all the time - the weird, crazy neighbor who attacks.

Pay the guys to come back and clean your yard. Let it go.

Hi, Op

Sorry you are going through this but, I would not mention the leaves again with this guy. From your last post he sounds mentally unstable and who knows what he could do. Look at Rand Paul and what his neighbor did to him over the yard. Attacked him and broke his ribs!

Personally, I don't mind the leaves on the ground as they are there for the trees/plants and also for the animals. I would learn to live with his leaves because really what does it matter in the big picture? I would think about filling out a police report because it sounds like he attacked you with the leaf blower and I would want a record.

In the meantime, just avoid.

He collected a lot himself, but also blew a big pile of leaves into our yard. I happened to arrive home while he was still at it, and when I asked him to please stop, he continued to blow leaves right into my face. And then started screaming at me to cut down the tree in my yard, etc, etc.

Does he blow all the leaves onto your yard? Or he collects most of them and there are just some that escape and he isn't going on your property to retrieve them?

Let the wind blow them back into his yard. Don't get into a confrontation over leaves.
