+1. For me it was the dad. I had invited a friend for DD over on Thanksgiving morning. The dad showed up with the friend and her little sister and proceeded to stay. It was really awkward because you know... I was cooking Thanksgiving dinner. When I extended the invite, the mom was thrilled as she was planning to cook Thanksgiving dinner also. We both agreed that the girls would occupy each other and therefore would stay out of our hair. I’m not married and it was just really odd to have someone else’s husband and child watching football in my living room.
This is hilarious because it's so outrageous and incredibly weird. Like something out of a sit com.

John said Jane could watch Jimmy but I had to step in several times. I hope there was nothing wrong at home? Larla had fun with Jane. They made slime and asked to get together again soon."

I enjoy play dates with older kids because my kids are occupied and I can get stuff done without them. Having a small.child or parent stick.around ruins it for me.and causes me extra stress, esp.if the house isn't in order.
