A few parties, maybe a movie, too many video games, baking Christmas cookies from scratch. And this year, each family member must make a dish for Christmas dinner.

We live in San Francisco. On Christmas morning I take DD to the Contemporary Jewish Museum because it's free that day. Other than that, I'm working. She will probably get together with her friends who are not going away.

Traveling for Christmas for the first time
While at home: Downtime, ice skating/pick up hockey, movie(s), hanging out with friends (sleepovers?), a family hike

break is so short! We're going away for 3 days, but otherwise, time around the house. A fire, a few family games. A movie or two. A hike. Maybe breakfast out. We're a family of introverts, so everyone is looking forward to downtime.
