We don’t, at least not in a serious manner. I think once in 5 years he used a curse during a fight—not even like, “f*** you Larla,” more like “I hate when you f***ing do that” or something. I got really mad and he’s never done it since, and I don’t either.

However, we do like rival football teams, so sometimes during games we jokingly curse at each other but we don’t get honestly mad about that stuff so it’s all in fun.

Nope. DH and I curse in front of each other. But DH would never call me curse words, or me him.

I curse like a sailor. It is a job requirement. But I have a dozen ways to peacefully manage conflict. I am kind, loving, direct and so understanding. I only cursed at my XH because he did everything in his power to intentionally piss me off.

My husband and I have never cursed at each other. I’m pretty sure neither of our parents have either, so I guess it’s how we were raised. I would not be ok with a spouse cursing at me.

No, not normal. Cursing because you're angry is different from cursing AT someone. That's abusive and a red flag.

NOT perfectly normal. I do NOT curse at my DH, nor does he curse at me. Respect.

If I'm upset I have no problem throwing out a few swear words here and there, but he never does. We have different personalities, and we deal with things differently. He never takes it personally, because he knows that's just me. We have a healthy relationship.

The problem is not that he cursed at you. In the heat of the moment many of us do. The problem is that he called back and continued cursing.
