Budget? If you like Westover, many areas between Wilson Blvd and Lee Highway will work.

My husband and I have lived in DC for nearly 20 years (Hill, Woodley, currently U street). Now considering a move, mainly for schools--we have a toddler. We like the proximity of Arlington and hear a lot about Arlington school quality. I had a friend who lived in Westover and I love that area--doesn't seem to be a whole lot of housing stock open though. We are also slightly familiar with Cherrydale but prefer Westover. Are there any other parts of Arlington that feel similar--where you've got a good neighborhood or community feel, with walkable shops and restaurants? We work in downtown and SW DC so transit connections are highly desirable--we don't drive all that much and don't want to be in a neighborhood where a car is needed for everything. We're looking for a 3 BR, bungalow style preferred, something in the 1,500-2,000 SF range. Thanks for any suggestions!
