Little league wide.

You can only use bats stamped with 2018 on it.

Thisbis country wide.

There are extensive regulations about it.

Unless your kid is Tball they need a new bat (I am not sure if Tball does or does not need new bats as my kids have aged beyond that level so I did not look at it).

No need to wait.

My 13 yo son got the Easton Ghost for use in Babe Ruth and started a conditioning class with it last week. So far, so good.

I read that the Ghost is for contact or power hitters and the Hyperlite is for contact hitters.

Bump. Interested in hearing thoughts on bats. So the Ghost is more for contact hitters? Is that in the description? We are in the beginning stages of figuring out what bat - son is more of a contact hitter as well.

DS plays travel baseball in NVTBL and it applies to him. My understanding is that it applies if you are 14 or younger and play Little League, Babe Ruth, Cal Ripken, etc. We're looking at the Easton Ghost Hyperlite. He's more of a contact hitter rather than a power hitter.

Our league has not mentioned it, just read about the new bat standards starting next year and not sure if this applies for player-pitch ages, if not, the ruling would probably trickle down to every youth leagues eventually. I would hold off buying one or grandparents buying one until more clarification is given.

I have to start researching but I was wondering what others have bought.
Thank you!
