Johnson and Coker caved in Committee, so it goes to the Senate floor. It will eventually pass there and the House will adopt the Senate bill.

I actually think the Senate will pass something and the House will just adopt the Senate bill. What the Senate bill looks like in the end remains to be seen.

It's shit legislation, however. It's almost like the Republicans know they're going to lose in a wave election in November, so they might as well pay off their donors now in the hopes of lucrative private sector jobs in 2019.

There's too many Republicans right now without much to lose. Only a faction of them (Ryan, McConnell, etc) are completely reliant on the donor class.
