PP here. I just googled it and saw it wasn't that helpful.

Check out Dodini Behavioral Health, or search for Dodini on DCUM, there are lots of recs for the group here (it's where I learned about them). They practice co-therapy. It's in Arlington, but right across the river in Rosslyn so close to DC.

Try doing something called co-therapy. It's where you see a therapist, your spouse sees a therapist, and then you see both therapists together (so 4 in a room) twice a month.

It's a great system. Google it.

Even if you're the one with the issues, as you say, your spouse will benefit from talking to someone about it, too.

Try apologizing to your spouse first, then seek counseling.

Individual. But change counselors if he/she suggests you leave your spouse.

I have issues. I also have a marriage with issues. Should I try to do both individual counseling and couples counselling at the same time? Or do my own thing first?
