Don't make it about you, Op. Why would you make it about you? His needs are different than they use to be .. that's it, that's all.

What would he say about the sex with you? Women are really bad in bed...maybe he is just tired of bad sex?

Marriage ebbs and flows and you have to be able to ride out the valleys. You want to spark things a little? Show up at his office looking professional in your buttoned up raincoat, close the door, lock it and reveal that the only thing under your coat was a string of pearls. That's cliche and not for everyone but if you can do something unexpected, you might be able to flip his switch.

Masturbate shamelessly in bed next to him. Wear lingerie

OP here. Well, I'm not sure what the issue is then. I guess my personality can be a little boring - I'm sort of overly focused on my work and DS's school - but I'm not ugly, or mean, or overly nagging.

If that's the issue, he's clearly overdoing it if he can't be there for his wife once a week.
I doubt it's the issue...

He doesn't like 3rd base?

Why is it mediocre?
I don't want to be explicit but he only likes one position which, while fun, gets repetitive.

Mix things up. Sext him about doing something new and exciting, or something you haven't done in a while.

Subject: Husband losing interest in me
We have been married for 15 years, 1 kid. I am not overweight, stay fit, and am reasonably attractive. However, I feel like DH is losing interest in me - he is only responsive about 1/2 of the times I suggest we have sex, and I suspect some of those times are out of obligation (I suggest it about once a week). I am sure he is not having an affair because he doesn't go out in the evenings and has a full time office job during the day. It seems like his main interests in life are obsessing about DS's travel soccer team and watching television (which is fine, I guess).
I guess what I am trying to find out is whether, on some level, it is normal that people lose sexual interest in each other to a degree after they have been together for a long time, or whether there is a serious problem here.
