MSRP mid 20k but you know you NEVER pay MSRP.

You're sadly mistaken if you think you can buy a new, 4WD, Wrangler Unlimited for $25K. Maybe 10-15 years ago they were going for that, not now. These things are hotter than pistol and they're charging accordingly.

Yes, they are. Go find a new one for less than $35K, find one a spoiled brat wants for less than $40K.

AGREE!

Had this as a rental car in Nantucket over the summer. Hated it!

Of course they do. But they appeal to this generation of kids who think "helping the environment" means not using plastic water bottles.

My 40 year old sister wanted a Wrangler since she was a teen and finally got one a few years ago. I don't see the appeal at all. It's super uncomfortable and always feels dirty.

Yes! In my neck of the woods, all the girls want a Jeep Wrangler. When one of the moms (who is considering buying one for her daughter getting a license in January) told me it was $40K my jaw dropped.

No, that's not really a thing. But it sounds like maybe you are butthurt about something.

My 18-year-old DD is pining for one of these. I didn't know it was a thing. I'm not buying her this or any other car.

They're so freaking popular. Hey honey, good effort out there on the field hockey team...here's a 40 thousand dollar Jeep.
